Jungle Heat game community

A huge selection of people will gather to recognize and thank exceptional individuals because of their solution towards Greater Miami Jewish Federation and Miami’s Jewish neighborhood – and elect and put in new management – at Federation’s 76th Annual satisfying on Wednesday, May 28 at Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami. The community can pay tribute to Brian L. Bilzin, a long-time Federation supporter who has got served with difference as Federation seat of this Board for the past couple of years, and induct Robert G. Berrin, who may have of late offered as General Campaign seat, toward place of Board seat.

Co-chaired by Ezra Katz, Daniel Lewis, Stuart Miller and Richard Yulman, the event will start at 5:30 p.m. with a kosher beverage reception and buffet dinner. Federation’s Officers, Board of Directors, Trustees and Leadership Council also will be chosen and put in.

Another highlight associated with the evening could be the presentation of awards to five outstanding frontrunners that have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the Mission of the better Miami Jewish Federation and our community.

The 2014 Stanley C. Myers Presidents’ Leadership Award

This honor, called for Federation’s late Founding President, is presented annually to two powerful Jewish frontrunners who possess demonstrated outstanding service to Miami’s Jewish community. Myers had been a fantastic frontrunner who served the Jewish community of Miami for decades and helped set the typical for Jewish philanthropy in Southern Florida. The 2014 honorees are Melissa Buckner and Mark Kravitz.

The 2014 Robert Russell Fellowship Award

Known as in commemoration of belated Robert Russell, this honor is presented to a part of the community having shown energetic interest in the Federation, plus particular, Jewish communities offshore.
